Medical Option 2 - Open Access Plus (OAP) Plan

Chambliss Bahner & Stophel offers employees high deductible (HSA-compatible) medical plans through Cigna. The firm also funds a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) which allows us to keep costs down while maintaining the same benefits for employees.

Two network options are available to you: LocalPlus is a narrower network with lower rates. LocalPlus network does not include Parkridge or East Ridge Hospital. Open Access Plus includes 99% of all providers in the state of Tennessee and includes all Chattanooga area hospitals. The health plans in each network are identical. The firm will pay 100% of the cost of single coverage on the LocalPlus plan. Employees pay the added cost for dependent coverage. If you elect coverage in Open Access Plus, you will also pay the cost difference between the LocalPlus and Open Access Plus networks.

Please note: On both plans, the medical deductible accumulates on the plan year (see below), not the calendar year.
